Paphiopedilum malipoense was described by Chen and Tsi, and is endemic to Yunnan, China.. Carol Woodin's rendition of Paphiopedilum malipoense has been painstakingly printed at the Stinehour Press of Vermont using a vintage Heidelburg press on 100% rag Rising Gallery paper, in an edition limited to 250 pencil signed and numbered impressions and 10 artist's proofs and each print has been individually hand embellished by the artist in watercolors.
