At a memorial service for a young friend and coaching client, read this prayer poem my sis sent me.

Good one to pass around and share. I read it to a friend whose dog had just died a couple weeks ago and he started crying. So you never know.

When you feel in the grip of sadness or anxiety and want to change, think of three things you are grateful for.

And I don't know how to say this so it goes in, but your troubles are not a burden for other people. Listening is free and healing. Practice listening to others without giving advice.

And then what?

And what else?
