I've enjoyed learning about Don Hoffman's work seeing our way of perceiving (subject/object) as one of the grand illusions right up there with you and me being individuals and having a self.
The work he's doing is profound because Hoffman is staying withing scientific method, wants to create a theory and test it with math...that fits in with what physicists are saying about reality.
